Pop up redo.
My husband and I have crazy buzy lives, so, for us, our camping week ends are more about relaxing than adventure. I wanted our popup to be a cozy little cocoon for comfortable late sleeping and lazy naps. On a very small budget ( thank you IKEA) I managed to buy light comforters for everyone, cotton conforter covers and nice pillows, The curtains were covered with fabric .The original curtain material is very good, it has a coating in the back to block light and it has a band of mesh at the top to let the flow of air conditioning go by, to make it simple I only sewed the new light fabric on top of the original one , it is so easy, and it allows me to preserve the original hooks. All the "beautiful" fake wood was covered with white and cream paint left overs I had.
The cute little carpets ( from IKEA) are a great addition, they make the floor softer, warmer and they trap the dirt, they are so easy to clean by just shaking them outside, plus they go in the washing machine and add a happy note of color. The hanging closet hides all our things .
It is not obvious here but the drawers and doors are cream and the backdrop is white to create alittle contrast.
The flower is a reproduction of the happy decals we have on the outside.
Those hanging baskets( Ikea) hold our toilettries, hats, suscreen and miscellaneous, they are hidden inside the hanging closet(Ikea) which also holds our towels and first aid kit underneath the baskets.
The cute pop up now found a new family to take over and build their own memories, one camping trip at a time.
