Happy!

Happy camper.
I really wanted my three boys to develop an awareness of Nature, we always enjoyed camping in our tent but the three days of advance planning / packing were very cumbersome, moreover the South Florida heat and mosquitoes would prevent us from having a good night sleep, we would end up being crabby and the whole experience, a lot less fun than anticipated. We finally decided to purchase a camper: we found a Coleman pop up camper that I fixed up little by little. My goal was to make it as pretty and confortable as a cute hotel room, with memory foam mattress pads and cotton conforters. With a little bit of organization it is now so easy for us to pack and leave on a moment notice.
This little pop up really mproved our quality of life, as campers and as a family, when we leave for the week end, not only do we take the opportunity to hike, bike or kayak but we also spend a lot of time bonding as a family, no TV to interfere here. We share very special moments with the kids: in the evening playing games by the fire under the stars, in the morning sharing massage sessions all together in the king bed., every time, we come back recharged and amazed by the beauty of our amazing Florida. If it was not for our two cats, we would never want to come back home, this tiny little camper holds everything we need for a family of five. That makes you realize that you really don't need that much to be happy, a beach, a marsh, a lake, a forest is all you need to spend a wonderful family time, and it is all here and free "courtesy of Mother Nature".

this is just me! Trying to feed my family organic food, detoxify our home and teach our children simple, spiritual values. Well...it sounds beautiful, doesn'it?, it is not always the picture perfect family one can imagine, it is a crazy bunch, but we take it one day at a time and try to have fun in the process......
